Dr. David Rainwater has called Little Rock home his whole life. After years of training, coming back wasn't a question.
A graduate of Little Rock Christian Academy, Dr. Rainwater earned his B.S. in Biological Engineering from the University of Arkansas in 2008, then went on to earn his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Dentistry, graduating with honors in 2012. Following dental school, he completed an Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency to sharpen his clinical skills across a wide range of cases.
Dr. Rainwater is a member of the American Dental Association (ADA), the Academy of General Dentistry (AGD), and the Pierre Fauchard Academy, an international honor society recognizing dentists for professional achievement and leadership. He has served as the past president of the Central District Dental Society and has been named Best of the Best by the Arkansas Democrat-Gazette for several years running. He is a certified Invisalign provider, has extensive experience with dental implants, and has completed advanced training in full-arch rehabilitation at Arrowhead Dental Lab.
His practice is built almost entirely on personal referrals, and that says everything about how he works. Whether it's a cosmetic concern, a pain issue, or a functional problem, his approach is the same: listen carefully, diagnose thoroughly, communicate honestly, and build a plan that actually makes sense to the person sitting in the chair.
Dr. Rainwater also gives back to the community he grew up in. He runs a free dental clinic once a month at City Center Dental Clinic through Immanuel Baptist Church and has volunteered at numerous Mission of Mercy events and free clinics throughout Little Rock.
Outside the office, you'll find him fishing the Little Red River, hunting, playing golf, or spending time at the lake with his wife, Rachel Cashion Rainwater, and their three daughters: Abigail, Emma, and Molly Kate.
